This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students are full of energy, curiosity, and potential—but many come to school without the foundational motor skills that used to develop naturally through everyday play. With technology taking up more of their time at home, children today often miss out on the simple physical experiences that help them learn to balance, throw, catch, skip, and jump.

In TK, learning is rooted in play.

That’s why I’m requesting materials that will allow my students to practice crucial gross-motor skills in a fun, engaging way during designated PE time. These tools will feel like games to them, but each activity is carefully designed to support physical development, coordination, and confidence.

Your support will help my students build the strength, balance, and coordination they need—not just for PE, but for lifelong health and learning. Thank you for helping our littlest learners grow strong!
