My Project

My fourth grade students are shooting for the stars! They're already asking for extra credit work and correcting any of our mistakes. I want to make sure we all keep up!

These visual aids will help students conceptualize math standards with more ease.

We don't all learn the same way or pace, but pictures certainly help! The magnetic base 10 blocks and place value coins will allow students to see the value of digits and more, the number lines will be useful for rounding and comparing numbers, the decimal grids will certainly come in handy when we reach our fraction and decimal standards, and the arrays provide an easy surface to demonstrate perimeter and area. All of the items can be used in centers, one to one tutoring, small group instruction, and whole group instruction.
