it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At Richards Career Academy in the Back of the Yards community, our student-athletes show up with heart, hustle, and an unwavering commitment to their team and neighborhood. What I love most about them is their resilience. They bring leadership, pride, and positivity into everything they do, even when resources are limited.
For many of our football players, the field is more than just a place to play, it’s where they build confidence, learn discipline, and find a supportive family.
But having the right gear is critical for both safety and performance. Cleats will help our athletes move safely and powerfully on the field. Girdles provide much-needed protection, especially for players who are hitting hard every down. Gloves will help our receivers and linemen improve their grip and feel confident in all weather conditions.
Your support will help level the playing field for our students, giving them the tools they need to compete, stay safe, and represent Richards Career Academy and Back of the Yards with pride.
