Help me give my students some technology in the classroom. The students can use the chrome books to go online and use a variety of websites such as ABCmouse, Starfall, EPICbooks to help them learn to read.
My students are very young and they need different ways to learn in the classroom. Most of the students come from a low income family. All of the students receive free lunch in school.
The students need a hands on way of learning in our classroom.
They are very focus and they want to do their very best in class. They have a great personality and they are very sociable. My students get very excited when I'm reading a book or teaching them new things. Some of them like to take some risks and try new things. My students are very lovable and they constantly need my attention.
My Project
The students will be able to use the chrome books during independent time to help them improve in different subject areas.
We will be able to use different apps in class such as iReady, EPIC books, Starfall, ABCmouse, Splashlearn and IXL.
These websites would help them improve their letter recognition, sound recognition and sight word recognition. They can also read books. For students who cannot read yet, there are many books on EPIC that can read to them.
There are also math websites, such as Khan Academy, Splaslearn, and IXL to help them with counting, shape recognition, addition and subtraction.
We do not have any technology in the classroom so having two chrome books is better than none. This is the first time that they are in school so I would like to help them adjust to being in a school environment.
