My students need more technology in the classroom. This past year, my students were able to utilize iPads and Chromebooks in our centers. The technology helped my student's test scores soar!
My students enter the classroom each morning with positivity, hope, and an eagerness to learn. Each day, they work hard to understand new math and reading concepts. Their joy can be overwhelming when they finally read that book they've been working on for two weeks.
My students are the future.
They are future police officers, dancers, doctors, lawyers, and teachers. They are dedicated at a young age to their education, and I want to help them grow however I can.
My Project
I am requesting five tablets, headphones, and kid safe cases. Having more technology in my classroom will increase test scores, and help my students grow their brains. Students want to spend time on tablets, and I want to turn that into a learning experience.
These tablets are another opportunity for my students.
They will provide extra resources for their learning. My students will be using programs like IXL, MobyMax, ABC Mouse, Prodigy, iRead, and Zearn. All these programs integrate mathematics and literacy into fun, educational learning games. These programs also give me concrete resources to fill any gaps in the kids learning. Any donations to this project will contribute to the success of 20 amazing, intelligent, powerful, and hopeful first graders. They have the potential to do ANYTHING, and you can help by putting more resources in their hands.
