More Stem Fun for Little Learners

Help me give my students various building and magnetic blocks and a marble run set to use during their "Joyful Learning" time each morning to help them develop problem solving and social skills.

My Project

I have twenty-one of the sweetest, most loving, compassionate, inquisitive, and enthusiastic learners. My kindergarteners are enthusiastic learners who enjoy coming to school each day. 76% of students qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch at our school, and 45% of my students are ELL (English Language Learners). Although many of my students face adversity, their challenges do not define their ability to learn and be successful. Their desire to learn despite the obstacles they often face is nothing short of amazing!

Kindergarten is a very important foundational year for children.

Each morning as students arrive, we begin our day with "Joyful Learning." This time provides students with a non-stress way to start their day. I am in need of many hands-on materials and manipulatives to successfully implement and keep students actively engaged during this important segment of our school day. These STEM materials including various building and magnetic blocks and a marble run set will help students develop their social skills and other vital skills such as problem solving and critical thinking skills.

All of these skills will help them to be successful learners in and out of the classroom every day.

Your support of this project would be so appreciated and would not only help instill in my students a lifelong love of learning, but it would also help me to effectively implement this important learning time in the classroom and make this a most valuable educational time for all students.
