More Seating Options for Extraordinary & Remarkable Students!
Help me give my students additional classroom seating options to further enhance their individual comfort, build social skills, and, of course, learn. All these elements go hand in hand in building strong individuals and leaders!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The additional seating will give my students options of where to sit that they feel is the ideal place to learn. Choice is compelling and teaches students to learn and collaborate in different classroom settings. Furthermore, it prepares them for the future, as they are our future. During independent and group work, my students can always sit where they feel best. I have found that giving students options empowers them and motivates them to work on their goals. Imagine not having to sit at a desk all day.
My aim is to create a welcoming and calm classroom environment that will help all of my students succeed socially and academically and keep them engaged, giving them the option to sit where they are most comfortable.
The products I have selected will help my students by giving them more classroom options. Being where one is most comfortable keeps each attentive and focused, creating control and autonomy over one's learning. Students are at school for so many hours a day. It is like their home away from home. I aim to bring my students closer to our classroom community to provide social-emotional support and a comfortable space to learn, work, and flourish.
The primary benefits of flexible seating are increased collaboration, reduced extended sitting at a student desk and helping students focus. These chairs will bring an engaging and comfortable space for students who need more motion as they learn and help each individual become a better-thinking and productive member of their classroom community.
