Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It’s time to restock our supply at my elementary school and help our 22-23 third graders start the process of learning their first wind instrument. The Soprano Recorder is a great tool to reinforce the concepts of rhythm. This will also strengthen not only their music reading skills but ELA reading skills as well. Music reading helps them track and keep their place which is a great skill to have when reading. These will recorders will give my students ways to learn and create music. It will also give them opportunities to work in small and large ensembles as well as solo work.
