My Students
My students come from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Some might have more, and some might have less. However, this does not change their love for learning. They are all eager to learn.
There should not be limitations to students' learning.
Students have different learning styles. Our school serves all students, and we do our best to meet the needs of students. We promote joyful learners. It is very important to provide access to our students with different learning styles and needs.
My Project
Students read every day in my class. They enter Kindergarten with various reading skills. It is very important to have a level library with books that are just right for each of them. These leveled books will help students learn how to read. There are repetitive sentences on each book to help students build their sight words and develop good reading habits. Students love reading these books.
Most of the leveled books in my classroom are falling apart now because students read them every day.
Students know exactly what their reading level is and they shop for books to read independently every day.
After students learn to read, they can read to learn for life. They can become avid readers and enjoy reading.
