My Project
I love helping my students discover and learn about statistics in AP Statistics! NumWorks calculators allow statistical concepts and analysis to be more approachable and accessible for students. The intuitive design, which is based on the electronic devices the students use on a daily basis already, and tools on this calculator, allow the students to spend more time working with statistics and less time learning how to navigate menus and sub-menus to find what they need to perform calculations and analysis.
My goal is to ensure that all students have access to this powerful tool to assist them with their learning and understanding!
The best way to learn statistics is to DO statistics, and these calculators will provide my students with the best tool to help them in this endeavor. With the interactive nature of apps focusing on Statistics, Grapher, Regression, Distributions, and Inference, my students will be in a wonderful position to learn and understand AP Statistics at a high level! One goal I have is for my students to be able to earn college/university credit for Statistics, and having the NumWorks calculators to work with will help put my students in the best position possible to do so!
