My Students
My students are fourth graders who are very enthusiastic learners! Between both of my classes, I have 42 students who are all hardworking, passionate, respectful and responsible. We work as a team to accomplish our learning expectations while having fun in the classroom.
My students are growing and learning in a wonderful community that supports their education, and my job is to make sure their learning experience is a positive one.
Our school district provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment for students to thrive in. As a result, our school is consistently one of the top-performing schools in the district every year. My goal as a teacher is to help my students be the best they can be while also preparing them for a successful future.
My Project
My classroom is a flexible seating space, meaning we have non-traditional seating options. I currently have a combination of wobble stools, stability balls, and regular chairs for students to sit on. I am looking to add more wobble stools and stability balls to my classroom.
Every student learns in a different way, and giving students the ability to choose where they want to learn will help build responsibility and promote success.
These additions would provide my students with more choices for seating options, and would also make them more comfortable in the classroom. When students are comfortable, happy, and excited about school, their best learning ensues!
