This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students use headphones daily to complete assignments on their computers. They specifically need headphones with microphones to complete their reading program, Amira. The headphones we have now have a lot of wiring issues and many of them are not functioning properly. I would like my students to have high quality headphones with microphones that allow them to get their computer work done with interruptions.
Many of my students have a difficult time working in just one place all day everyday and they LOVED the new flexible seating options from my previous project so much that I wanted to add some lap desks!
This will give one more type of variety for the flexible seating and allow each child the opportunity to use flexible seating throughout the day. They use the flexible seating options very responsibly and I know that they will do well with this added piece.
