My Students
We are in a district with a uniquely diverse student population. In recent years, many Bhutanese and Nepali natives have joined our school family. No matter their cultural background though, all of my students come to school ready to learn!
My students enjoy hands-on, active, and engaging projects/activities that challenge them to think outside the box.
I hope to be able to improve student engagement and motivation by providing more of these unique learning opportunities.
My Project
Many times in math class, I need a way to quickly assess if the students are understanding the content that is being taught. The whiteboards will give me the opportunity to quickly check the students' work and allow the students a fun way to complete their work with instant feedback. The magnetic erasers will allow us to quickly move from problem to problem and help me to store them when they are not in use. We are constantly in need of new dry erase markers and the variety of colors will give students a nice choice in how they want to express themselves!
Lots of students struggle with using the Chromebook mouse pads.
Having a set of wireless mice will be such a great item for students to borrow within the classroom. This will help the students navigate the chromebook a lot quicker and smoother.
