I am a STEM teacher in an elementary school and my students are in grades K-5. My students live throughout the borough of the Bronx and have Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our school is part of New York City's District 75, which provides specialized instruction and support for students with significant challenges.
Our students are eager to learn and explore and I look forward to seeing their faces light up when they are introduced to new topics or hands-on activities!
My students succeed best when they are provided with a well-managed and structured environment that’s full of love and support for their individual needs. When provided with a well-rounded education including visual, auditory, tactile, and technology opportunities, my students will continue to grow and achieve success!
My Project
Hands-on engagement is super important for my kiddos! Hands-on learning is very important for my kiddos' success. Teachers Pay Teachers is an amazing resource that would be greatly implemented in my classroom! Hands-on STEM and STEAM activities for the whole class and or small groups are endless! Who knows better than a teacher when creating lessons and activities? This site could greatly help in finding content in all areas of my science curriculum! Having students at different levels with different needs will also give me the opportunity to find differentiated activities that are engaging!
