My Project

My students come from a community where more than three-quarters of them live in low-income households. As a teacher, I know that every family might not be able to afford school supplies, so I want to help out by supplying some basic items.

These items will help my students have fun on the recess field and stay clean and healthy while at school.

Every classroom needs the basics; Kleenex, recess toys, manipulatives, and other essential items to start the school year.

My students will use these items during recess time. My students will benefit from having regular and double dutch jump ropes and a cart to carry all of our recess toys. Additionally, the manipulatives will be used during math centers to reinforce multiplication fluency. The kleenex and vacuum will help our classroom stay healthy during the flu and cold season. Finally, the refill ink will be used to stamp students' daily behavior calendars and the ID holders will be used to hold students' lunch tags.
