My Students
My students come from a diverse community made up of both low-income and military families. Many of them qualify for free and reduced-price lunch. What they all have in common is a desire to learn and succeed!
The school serves PK through 6th grade students who are eager to learn and succeed.
I want my media center to be a place where students can come to explore and learn in a positive way. They deserve materials that are of high quality and high interest to engage them and motivate them to be the best they can be.
My Project
My students have been doing a great job getting back to the books after our long break at home due to the Coronavirus. But many of my students are discovering that some of their favorite chapter books and characters did not return after the pandemic. So many of our books were lost during our extended stay at home.
My students are in need of new chapter books to help get them reading again.
These new books will make excellent additions to our library and will help my students continue to grow and make up the time that was lost at home during the pandemic.
