My kiddos are one of a kind! I like to think that my classroom is one of a kind as well! We are a school of 600 kids in a rural area in Wisconsin and 18 of those kids get to spend their days with me. My students are the reason I wake up in the morning to go to work and the reason I stay up late at night trying to find the next "big" thing. My job is to help them have positive learning experiences. I love the expressions on their faces when they learn something new! I look forward to working with my little students every day and hopefully helping them become little men and women that will make a positive impact on our world.
My Project
I love reading to my students every day but I also love when they read by themselves. I love when they find a place in the room that allows them to focus on just their books. I am in need of some lower leveled books for my incoming second graders. This project will allow my students to have more options to pick from as they are reading. I think they will enjoy all these books, both fiction and nonfiction. Thank you for taking a peek at this project and for helping get books into kids' hands.
