My Project

I am a special education teacher, and my students love our classroom library! Our classroom library consists of books that students have requested over the years. I want to continue to add to our collection with books that students want to read because it keeps them interested in reading.

Anime, manga, and illustrated books allow my students to practice with reading and the pictures help them comprehend what they are reading.

The titles that I am requesting include some of the newest anime that the students are watching and I've challenged them to read the books to see what differences are between the anime and the books. I have also added the illustrated versions of the Harry Potter books because most students have seen the movie but are hesitant to pick up the books because they don't contain pictures and the length of the books is daunting to some of them too.

Please consider helping me add more selections to our classroom library that students will want to read.
