it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a lively bunch and they are acquiring new skills to help them become fluent readers. It is always great to see students' faces light up when they recognize that they can do something they couldn’t do before. Reading is one of those great moments. Having just right books to practice with makes a big difference.
If you donate to this project, you will be helping to provide skill level and grade level appropriate books for my students to practice newly acquired reading skills.
Books like Dr. Seuss’ short vowel word books and decodable readers help students to build confidence with reading. Having these types of books available for students to practice with will help my students to become lifelong lovers of reading!
