This is a quote my students learn the first week of school each year.
It's our mantra and a reminder that we can do anything if we truly put our minds to it. Most importantly, it inspires us to shy away from excuses and focus on solutions.
I work in an inner-city school with 100% of our students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Despite those challenges, my students are excited to work on the many engaging projects I design throughout the school year. This year will not be any different.
My Project
Ever since we returned in person, I have been pushing my students to put down their computers and pick up a good book. Now they are zooming through books and need more books to help their newfound appreciation of reading increase.
New books will help students continue reading book series and authors my they are drawn to.
There are so many new books that my students are requesting and with your donation I will be able to add books to our classroom library. Every year books disappear and I don't mind replenishing them to keep our classroom library new and current.
