This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 3rd graders are amazing English Language Learners who come from a variety of different economic backgrounds. I teach at a Title I school in Texas where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and and lunch.
It is amazingly rewarding to see my kids smiling and looking forward to coming to class each day with anxious anticipation wondering about what each school day has in store for them.
Yes! Coming to school is the best part of their day, and I want to keep it that way. I want to prepare every one of my students for a life of promise in this highly sophisticated and complex world. But, if I truly want to accomplish my goal, I need to design a learning environment that inspires my global leaders to find a lasting love of reading.
My main goal is to foster a learning environment with a spirit of collaboration and a love of reading where students take ownership of their learning.
My Project

It is amazingly rewarding to see my kids smiling and looking forward to coming to class each day with anxious anticipation wondering about what each school day has in store for them. Yes! Coming to school is the best part of their day, and I want to keep it that way.
My students need Units of Study for Teaching Reading, Grade 3 w/ Trade Pack (Bundle) for grade-level books, and state-of-the-art tools to improve their reading comprehension skills.
I want to prepare every one of my students -global leaders- for a life of promise in this highly sophisticated and complex world. But, if I truly want to accomplish my goal, we need to state-of-the-art tools for teaching reading. The materials we are requesting will help my 3rd graders become life-long, confident readers and writers who display independence in their future endeavors.
