Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my classroom are so happy and excited to come to school everyday. They love learning and they have made so much progress since the beginning of the school year, but we still have a way to go to get them kindergarten ready!

My classroom is a blended preschool classroom.

There are 16 students total, 11 of my students are considered at risk and 5 of my students have an IEP. My students are working on all areas of development, gross motor, fine motor, social/play skills, and more. We have specialists that come in every week and work with my students to help them grow and develop their skills.

My Project

I am requesting 4 scooters to help my students practice their gross motor skills this winter. With the cold weather, it is harder for us to get our energy out! My students are not as interested in the materials that I have, so we are looking for new ways to get them excited to exercise! I also am looking for new ways for my students to get sensory input in the water table. I want to keep them interested in learning and sharing with their peers!

My classroom will improve so much with these donations.

My students will be so excited and interested in exercising and keeping a healthy body! My goal is to improve their stamina for exercise.
