Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year our second grade students have been working exceptionally hard to close the learning gaps that came along with COVID 19. Due to the impacts of COVID 19 this group of scholars has never experienced a live field trip. We would like to reward their hard work by allowing them the gift of a hands on educational experience. An educational field trip should be part of every child’s experience.
For this field trip we would be visiting th Moody Gardens rainforest exploration, where the students learn how plants and animals adapt to their multilayered environment.
