This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have a great sense of responsibility about caring about others, their environment and themselves. Each individual student takes pride in creating different works with fabric, yarn, and paint. The lessons that are instructed for Montessori Practical Life help my students develop their fine motor skills, coordination, and helps them to develop their independence. The loom making kit will help promote concentration and self-discipline, as they learn to make scarves and winter hats. I feel these activities will help my students learn essential life skills as well as develop in their emotional intelligence.
