Help me give my students the materials needed to hand sew monster stuffies to inspire the love of reading for their 2nd grade peers!

My Project
My 7th grade students love to hand sew and they are going to buddy up with their 2nd grade peers to promote the love of reading!
2nd grade students will create drawings of their own original monsters inspired by books authored by Elise Gravel.
Once they are done with their drawings, 7th graders will turn their drawings into hand sewn stuffies that they make with the craft felt, buttons and roving wool. Then, the 7th graders will write original stories about the monsters for every 2nd grader, adding colorful images and narrative using construction paper, paint pens, and digital effects.
This project will come together in a field trip where 7th graders will deliver their story and hand sewn stuffie to their 2nd graders, which will culminate in a reading party/picnic!
