My Students
My students are a part of a genuinely diverse community. Not only do students come from varying ethnic backgrounds, but the life experiences that they’ve endured are incredibly unique. Sharing these experiences with one another shows my students that neither texts nor they themselves as students are one-sided.
My Project
Websites like Google Meet makes it difficult to share your screen and engage with students in the chat. Most times, teachers cannot see their students' comments while sharing the screen or lessons. Teaching with an additional monitor combats the issue of stopping to share your screen in order to monitor students' responses in the chat. The additional monitor creates a space to keep track of students' engagement while displaying the lesson. With a monitor, I can keep track of students' concerns, comments, and questions as we go through the lesson.
