Help me give my students an iPad and a printer for our classroom to monitor students' works on the computer.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. G's classroom raised $842

My Students
The students in my class enjoy working on computer. However, many of them prefer to go on unnecessary sites instead of doing the required assignments. An iPad will allow me as a teacher to pull the data from anywhere in the classroom when doing small groups and see if they are using the programs with fidelity. After pulling the data, the teacher is responsible to print for future reference.
Diversity is the key to our success.
We are a very diverse school and all the ethnic groups feel at home when they are in the school facility. During the school events, all the ethnic groups blend together with the collaboration of the staff to form one strong community. More likely, we are a Title I school. Over 95% of our students come from a low income family. As a result, a large majority of our student population is under free or reduced lunch based on the income. We take advantage of our diversity to create a good learning environment.
My Project
Most of my students don’t have access to technology at home because the parents cannot afford it. Therefore, all work assignments must be done in the school. Although students are advised to take advantage of the library system, transportation is an issue or the guardians are not available to take them. Since there is a specific time to spend on each computer math program weekly, I have to monitor the time so that each student can have a chance to beat the time limit.
Through the iPad, teacher can easily access any programs in which the students are using in class and see if they are wasting time while logging in the programs or if they are going over the limited time.
The data must be printed on a weekly basis and turned to administration to ensure that all the students meet the required time weekly.
This year I tend to increase my students math scores. Technology will play a significant role in increasing math scores in my classroom. Technology will allow them to build fluency in operations because of the computer programs we are currently using in our school district.
