My Project
Welcome to Money Talks in our classroom. My students are eager students who thirst for learning and trying new things.
In my classroom students earn play money for behavior, showing responsibility and respect, participation, and teamwork.
Students love to count their money. This is a great way to learn about the value of money and the importance of working hard. Students will run the classroom store using the cash register and play money. The class store will allow students to shop with the play money earned for the week buying snacks, pencils, and trinkets that are theirs to keep.
Being able to understand the different denominations will not only strengthen their math skills, but also their money skills.
It will also be a wonderful way to familiarize students with each coin and its value.
