My Students
I currently teach in a Title I school. This means that most of our students come from low income families. Many of our families are living well below the poverty level and are only able to experience many things through their education.
Although these students come from challenging backgrounds, they never let it stop them from doing their best and working toward their goals.
My hope is to give these students the very best art education so they may one day use the skills that I have taught them to better the world.
My Project
The money for Teacher Pay Teachers will allow me to gather more resources to use during our virtual leaning. Teaching art virtually is a very challenging thing. Trying to come up with new and creative ways to get students engaged and creating with their hands while still working virtually have proven very difficult. There are many great teachers out there that are sharing their resources to help students like mine. The money will go toward pre-created virtaul lessons, resources and virtual field trips. I truly believe that this will make a huge impact on my students learning and growth.
