My Project

My second graders are learning to count in multiple ways. Money is one of the math units for learning addition and subtraction. With these hands-on materials students will be able to have money activities during math centers and develop multiple strategies to add and subtract within 100. The money and math products that I have selected are focused on money and learning about finances, later on, these same products will support financial activities for needs and wants for social studies. Overall it will support all learning styles in the classroom.
