Modern Technology in Inner City Schools Made Possible!

Help me give my students a class set of headphones and mice that will allow them to fully utilize their new online social studies curriculum.

My Project

Last year we procured a brand NEW social studies in the Middle School for the first time in my ten years here! Needless to say I was more than excited. Unfortunately I found out pretty quickly that our online curriculum could only be fully effective with the use of a mouse and headphones due to drawing lessons and individualized narration ETC. If this project is chosen it would provide that much needed technology to the student of my classroom. Ultimately I envision my students overall levels of work to increase specifically within the realms of higher level vocabulary, reading comprehension, and the arts. Our students are special for a multitude of reasons including their Title 1 status, they speak over 38 languages, a large majority are immigrants, and our school is in the inner-city. COVID was and continues to be a BIG issue for our kids, not only are many of them stunted academically but also economically and socially. Please help bridge the gap for our EPIC kids by granting us this project.
