My Project
For the second unit, 8th grade reads "All Quiet on the Western Front". I would like to give them access to a modern version that uses similar themes as well as open their eyes to more modern literature.
The goal is to open a world of literature to students that they don't often receive in a classroom. The notebooks will be used to journal about and share their ideas and thoughts on the book. It will be paired with the rest of their unit two material and can easily incorporated in.
This is also one of my personal favorites and I would love the opportunity to share it with my students.
