My Students
I teach in a rural community in Southern Maryland with a lot of farms. My student are very sweet, eager to learn, and very respectful. My school is a small tight knit community that work to teach all kids together.
My Project
I teach second grade and this is a very important year for students to learn how to form letters correctly. These boards will help the students practice letter formation and how to write words correctly. Plus they are environmentally helpful to the planet because they are electronic and does not create waste. These materials will be used in the classroom. Along with writing words these boards can also be used for students to do calculations to show their mathematical thinking. These boards can be used to get a snapshot of a student’s thinking.
