My Students

A typical day in my classroom is very busy and productive.

Students love to learn and are eager to do hands-on activities in the classroom and the laboratory setting. "Opportunity is often missed because it is disguised as hard work."

My students are from a tight-knit, rural community who love to show their school spirit and attend many activities provided by our school. We have small classes, and students get along well with each other. Our school shows pride through the hallways and has good school spirit.

My Project

We are requesting materials for our animal science unit in our vet tech class. Items that are being requested include an animal cell model, 3D dog model kits to individualize, animal tracks, and ink to print our finished tracks with. This will also aid in my conservation class in visualization and identification of animal tracks.

Humans rely on animals for food, fiber, labor and companionship.

So it makes sense that we need animal scientists to keep these animals healthy and productive. Having an animal science class will allow for students to explore the wide array of careers and tasks someone in the animal science field can complete in a day's time.
