This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are caring, young scientists that are eager to learn. We are a K-5 science and technology school in an urban neighborhood. Our goal is to foster a love of learning and provide high quality, hands-on educational experiences.

Our Fourth Graders are STEM enthusiasts!

We love to design, create, and problem solve while working to understand the world around us.

This year we are hoping to create models in our science class. We would like to use chart paper and markers to help develop our learning throughout our Land and Water science unit!

My Project

Our fourth grade ecologists cannot wait to study earth's processes and erosion! This year we are implementing new science practices within our classrooms. Our fourth grade classes will be working in teams to understand the concepts of erosion, the water cycle, and how landforms are created. Through hands on science demonstrations and readings, we will grow as scientists!

In order to show off our work, we need chart paper, crayons, and markers. These materials will allow us to create models throughout the unit. As we develop our thinking, our models will change and grow with us!
