My Project

As a result of the pandemic, students have had fewer opportunities to learn science through hands-on, inquiry based strategies. Our 8th grade science curriculum (based on NGSS) focuses on physics and chemistry. I strive to inspire in students an excitement for science as they unlock the mysteries of the world around them. My goal as their teacher is to provide them with as many engaging, lab-based experiences as possible. This project would challenge students to apply their understanding of physical science concepts as they design, build and launch their own model rockets!
