This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me bring a mock trial club to our middle school campus. These items will allow students to play the part of judge, jury, prosecutor, defense attorney, witness, expert, etc.! They will learn communication, speech, and debate skills. They will learn how a criminal trial and a civil trial work. They will learn the Constitution. They will learn about burden of proof, and so many other neat things. We may even have future judges or attorneys getting their first look at a trial through this club!

Students in mock trial will have the opportunity to learn about the American justice system, and how it works in our government.

They will be given the opportunity to play-act different cases and debate topics. Thank you for helping us to start a mock trial club!
