Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school has grown to the point that the special education team has lost our classrooms. In order to meet the needs of our students it is helpful to have resources within reach. As a mild/mod teacher, I am working with all students within a classroom as I push in to work with students that have been identified as qualifying for specialized instruction to support access to grade level instruction.
In order to meet the needs of our students, I am create mobile teaching carts.
This will allow us to have a cart with fidgets, sensory items, paper, pencils, and necessary classroom materials. Additionally, the cart will allow us to store student work and confidential files. Without the mobile teaching carts, we will lose valuable time going back and forth from our offices out in the mobiles back to our push in classrooms.
