My Students
Kindergarten is a time of transition and growth. Along with busy minds, students also have busy bodies that need to move in order to stimulate the brain. Each day we work on life skills and expand learning through hands-on activities and applied learning projects.
My community of scholars works together to create lasting learning and fun memories.
In the classroom it is important to give students opportunities to discover how they learn best, and have materials for all students to be successful.
My Project
STEM time is a class favorite in my kindergarten classroom. My students are always eager to see what stations will be out, and enjoy working together to solve problems creatively.
By having a mobile STEM station, my students can easily see what materials are available and access what they need independently.
Having all of our stations on this cart would also allow for more flexibility for when the stations are able to be used since students will be able to access them without assistance from an adult. Students will also have more time to work with the stations as the kid friendly shelf would eliminate the teacher set up time where students are waiting for their materials. This station will also help students to gain organizational skills and give students more responsibility over the classroom supplies.
