My Project
My students are little sponges, soaking up all that they can, and I want to provide them with the opportunity to go beyond the resources that we have. Bright eyes that are ready and eager to learn; these are the students that I have the pleasure and opportunity to teach every day. Many of my students come from households that are living at or below the poverty level and lack the exposure to the many different avenues of technology. We are a Title I school, where 100% of our students receive free lunches.

This project includes a HP laptop and a computer chair that will be used for projects and enrichment.
We are trying to bridge the gap in reading, enrich students, and empower 22nd century learners with a "I CAN" attitude!
In order to bridge the gap, students need access to equipment within the classroom. These items will be available in our research center where students will have immediate access. The items will be used for enriching students through researching topics, using an online research database. Another way these items will be used is through creating presentations for students to share with the class on their research topics. They will also provide access to enrichment programs for higher level achievers.
Having these items will allow students to be engaged in programs that are meeting their needs while rotating to the teacher's intervention table.
