Our School is a Title I school with 100% of the students eligible to receive free and reduced price lunch. Student success is the goal for every student and faculty member at our elementary school. We have an outstanding school where we believe that each child can and will grow to his/her full potential and become an independent learner through our dedication to high-quality, research-based best educational practices.
The environment of our grade is one that prepares each student to be successful in and outside of our classrooms.
We use what we learn inside our classrooms to be prepared citizens for the real world. Our best learning is accomplished when real-world experiences are at our fingertips.
My third-grade students are a diverse group. They all have their own learning styles, embrace their differences, and are dedicated to their learning.
The students learn best when they have individualized, real-world experiences that connect to their classroom learning. Many students have jobs around our school to show their pride for our school community.
Kids today are on the move. From learning pods through out the building to out door learning spaces, traditional learning is not the only way to go anymore. Giving students the freedom of nontraditional learning spaces is key, but we still need many of the things we have in our traditional classrooms.
With a Magnetic Mobile Standing Whiteboard, that be any height, we can learn anywhere and still use the tools that we need to get the most out of our learning.
This mobile board will allow us to learn about gardening and the life cycle of plants outside in our school garden. We can learn about gravity in the hall. We can practice reading while we work in our third grade pod. Giving the students access to learning anywhere will help transfer their learning from one aspect of their life to another.
