This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The use of technology is almost a daily activity in my mathematics intervention groups. Using programs like IXL in math will help the students close the gap on learning loss due to COVID. The Microsoft Surface will allow me to see exactly what they are doing in real-time. The program allows me to group the students and instruct them using various skills adapted to help the low-performing students. With the laptop I will provide instant feedback and will allow me to see reports in real-time as the students progress. Children are constantly being distracted by video games and other social media, which make them miss important instruction from the teacher. By having the laptop, students will be able to avoid all these problems and focus on increasing their learning!
