My Project
My students are a joy for me because I learn so much from them. I love that despite my students coming from lower-income backgrounds, they come to school eager to learn. Most come from diverse backgrounds, so we have many enriched discussions and educate each other on different cultures and holidays. I believe in a comfortable learning environment and good humor, so we laugh often in my class.
Having more comfortable, flexible seating and a rolling cart with shelves, would make learning easier for my students and meet their many individualized accommodations!
The seat cushions will be used by students, wherever needed, around the classroom and school. The cart will be used to bring materials/resources to them and for lesson demonstrations at their level. The tissue is frequently needed for student sneezes, sniffles, and to keep down germs.
