My Students

I want my students to become passionate about computer science education. If students are able to bring their computer and code with them, wherever they go, they will be more likely to connect with what they are learning.

I get a variety of students in my Intro to Computer Science course.

I would like to see more girls, and more minorities. Our school is across the street from a public university, with a good computer science program. I would love to see more students try computer science.

My Project

With these Chromebooks, my students will finally be able to take their learning with them wherever they go. They will be able to show their friends and families their projects, as well as keep working from home. Students will be learning computer science by creating web sites and mobile apps.

These laptops will close the technology gap for students, who don't have mobile technology.

Those students will be able to work on computer science when they want, where they want. I hope students are lining up to take computer science after this.
