Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in an Integrated Co teaching class. I am trying to get sets of books to help my kindergarten students learn to read. I'm trying to also get books to help my students mean to love reading. The Bob books will help with the learning to read. The Mo Willems books will help my students to love reading.
I feel it is important to help students to learn to love reading at the same time they are learning to read.
By getting all of this books I am hoping to do both.
My students live in an area that doesn't have any book stores. Their families don't have the financial means to buy book. I hope to start creating a great library for my kindergarten students. Some of my students struggle with leaning. I hope these sets help them.
