My Students

My students are so kind and caring! They have had the opportunity to help in one of our special needs classrooms this year. They are loving helping those who really need their assistance. This has helped them to gain more empathy. They are eager to learn and share their new knowledge with others.

We have worked hard to be kind and problem solve.

I am so proud of the progress they have already made this year. We are a class of progressing writers with great imaginations. They are hard working students that are trying to navigate school during these trying times of a pandemic.

My Project

Having these supplies will help all of the 5th graders in my school to be able to have a hands-on experience. This will allow us to work in smaller groups, limiting close contact with multiple classmates.

Students love to explore science concepts using real world materials.

These materials will help us to be able to investigate the concepts of mixtures and solutions in pairs, instead of larger groups. We will be able to explore in a safe environment.

If we need to go virtual again, students will be able to see close up investigations on their computers as I carry out the experiments on an amazing new camera. Then, students will be better able to show their knowledge of science using a mouse with their Chromebook. It will make testing more user friendly for my scientists.
