Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials in this project are essentials my students use in math class on a daily basis. From the graphing paper and notebooks to take notes, to the dry-erase markers and pencils they use to complete their practice problems.
Everything is needed, and is especially helpful for the students that don't have their own.
Students use the calculators to check their work, along with the colored pens to check their work and visually see the differences in their work. The giant post it notes are used for group work activities, and anchor charts which are posted on the walls of my classroom to serve as a visual resource for my students.
Most of these are given to the students to keep, others are kept in class for everyone to use. I don't want my students to miss out on their learning, and this will help us maximize our learning time.
