This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are a group of kinder students who are eager to learn and curious about the world around us. We ask a lot of questions and love to explore science and engineering. I have been specifically mandated to get them more materials and with your help, I aim to please!
My students are curious students who thrive on hands-on and multi-sensory experiences to grow their little minds.
My goal is to find new and innovative tools for them to use to create an academically rich learning environment while reducing our impact on the environment. The wood logs, town set and fake ice blocks will help us with our engineering projects. The dry erase pockets and laminating pouches will help us reduce the use of paper for many activities. The fidget pop blocks, pop beads and pop tubes will help us with sensory input during phonemic awareness and phonics activities. We would like to help the environment by having reusable materials for our classroom. These learning materials would be used and reused therefore creating less trash from our classroom.
