My Students
For the majority of the 2011-12 school year, art didn't even have a classroom! Now that I have a classroom, I have a screen but no projector. We are in need a project so our students can easier view the projects we're working on, and have access to a larger library of artwork to critique!
I am the art teacher at a charter school in Kennesaw, GA.
I have grades Kindergarten through Sixth grade. We have a WIDE variety of students at our school because parents get to choose us! We have recently increased our numbers up to 800 students, and we're only growing!
My Project
With a projector in our room, all of my students could see the art project that we're working on easier. My room is humongous, and I take up valuable class time walking around showing students the art project. With a projector, all students will be able to see the project clearly on the screen! Plus, instead of having to only rely on the few art posters I have, I can access the Internet and find more examples of art and artists for our students to discuss and be inspired by!
We've all started our new lives in our new school building, and our art program deserves a new tool!
A projector would be an awesome and helpful tool in our new, huge room so that all students can participate in our art classes!
