My Project
I just took over a classroom and materials are missing. I am requesting materials for the learning centers in my pre-k classroom. I am asking for material such as art supplies for students to use in the art center and kitchen items for our dramatic play center to enhance students' creativity and imagination. I am also asking for musical instruments, hula hoops, and bean bags to enhance my music and movement lessons. These materials will help students develop their gross motor skills. The kids learn by playing. My class also needs Mr. Potato Head, geo boards, pattern blocks, marble run and a magnetic set for out math, science and manipulative center. These materials will help students with their math and fine motor skills.
Having taught pre-k for nearly 10 years these are "staples' in the classroom.
The materials requested enhance our l play based model. I pride myself in providing a vast amount of material, so I provide multiple points of entry for my diverse student population with various interests and skills.
